Life has changed. Things have changed. It has changed in its definition, concept, and application throughout. And it is especially emphasized during these Political Moments of uncertainty.
With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Popular Taste changed direction, and Writers began producing new material with more accurate reflections of their then-cloistered living experiences.
Online and Virtual communication substituted for In-Person meetings. Well-known groups struggled to adjust to the new norms, only to discover that Technology was changing faster than expected. A new vocabulary and online games for all ages permeated the ether.
Making up words has always been a writer's delight. However, in this new atmosphere, it flourished and found its way into the Political Arena as "Alternative Facts!" Writers were now in what I term a linguistic yin-yang. All while the world continues doing what it does best, following its diurnal course.
As of Tuesday, June 24, 2025, Our Group name, Snoopy's Writers, was changed to the "Wordists" as a more accurate reflection of what this group now represents.
Several years ago, Snoopy Writer, now Wordist Andrea, introduced The Word "Wordists." Thank you, Andrea. Hugs!
